So here is the update on the mom situation. Sorry I took so long to fill you guys in but...you know me:) So we thought my mom might have a broken hip, and foot, but her x-rays were luckily fine. To bad her poor black butt swelled to the size of a basketball, but has luckily gone down with a little TLC. She had a pretty bad day yesterday at work with all the kids, who were full of holiday energy I'm sure. All in all, everything is fine.
Yeah, it's been a while since my last post because quite frankly I have become consumed with my new mp3 player. I love it!! I can plug it in to my exercise bike, I can wear it in a nifty arm strap thingy when I'm cleaning the house, and I even have a little speaker to set it on when I don't want to have it "on" me. I'm telling you, at the rate I'm going I'll probable deaf, or burnt out in a week or more.
As for New Years Eve we convinced my mom and dad to sit the kids while we go out. It is the first year in a while that Joe has had off, or hasn't been on call. So the plan is to hit a Japanese Steakhouse in Nicholasville, and then off to some friend's house to have some New Year's Eve fun!
